My oh My! –  Kate and Sallie have just tied our diary up for next week – now we need to put our feet up – just planning it all was tiring – but exciting too!WTM_WRTD+DATE_2013_OFFICAL_SUPPORTER_onwhite

Here we go

Monday

– finalise all presentations for World Travel Market World Responisble Tourism Day events

 

-do the shopping for the volunteer social on Saturday 9th November

– prepare all the badges and signs for the volunteer social – a favourite Blue Peter moment

Tuesday

-travel up to London

– Sallie presents at Speakers cornerVolunteer Tourism – it’s here to stay – so how do we make it better? Are profit and responsible volunteer travel  mutually exclusive?”

meetings with local partners

Wednesday

-the awards ceremony – we are finalists in two categories – Best for Volunteering and Best for Campaigning – we are really chuffed – would be wonderful to win but our co finalists are so amazing we can’t believe we will!

responsible travel networking til 6pm

ICRT networking party – til late – will be great to catch up with some old friends

Thursday am – Sallie is on the panel for the Responsible Volunteering debate ( powerpoint presentation done – TICK!)

Thursday afternoon meetings

Thursday evening wend our weary way home.

Friday – prepare for the volunteer social

Saturday the volunteer social – YIPPEE!

Sunday – meeting with Dianne our volunteer programme advisor to plan how we do what we do even better

Phew – bet you are tired now!

BRING IT ON  – what a wonderful week – time to catch up with so many friends, partners and volunteers.

    Hate to you think of you both sitting around doing nothing! good luck for Wednesday and see you Saturday.
    WEATHER WARNING it will either snow or a hurricane will blow in on Saturday as I am traveling by motorbike!
