“I found it really important to let go of the arrogant ‘let’s try and mend this’ attitude and instead to bring a more humble ‘appreciative enquiry’: what works well?

The proverb says, ‘If you’re coming to help, you’re wasting your time. But if you think your destiny is inextricably linked to ours, then let’s work together.”

Annie has just returned from The Gambia where she volunteered on the wealth creation programme
