responsible volunteering – reaching a tipping point ?

my previous post shows a 16-year old asking questions, getting answers from us and making informed decisions …

and this latest comment just in from another potential volunteer who is doing her research ( and Louise has rather more years under her belt!)

so – I may be being overly optimistic, but it would seem that more volunteers are learning, researching, asking questions, making informed decisions … responsible volunteering reaching a tipping point ?

a win-win situation

“I am most definitely interested in discussing further with you the options available for volunteering. I’m particularly interested in going through an organisation such as yourselves because of your values and ‘skill sharing’ approach. I would like to take part in something where I feel I am able to actively contribute (as opposed to pure ‘volunteer tourism’).

Thanks Louise
