I ( Sallie) first visited the Nepalese village of Sermathang nearly three years ago – and I promised that we would one day recruit volunteers for this wonderful community project. The school and health centre were both forcibly closed during the Maoist troubles. Previous students and the communituy have joined together to reopen the school.Having done that, their is to reopen the clinic at the school, with the support of a Neapali hospital.

Take a look at the project details for education here and for healthcare here.

The villagers will welcome you with open arms.
