The Education for All boarding houses (where many of our volunteers work) are not just about enabling girls to go to school and get their qualifications. They are also about preparing the girls for life and for work, giving them the skills and confidence to become independent women. Here is a great initiative from the travel industry to support them in this aim.
From the Education for All newsletter:
Hays Travel Internships start this Summer
We are so excited to announce that our first 3 alumni students arrived safely in the United Kingdom last week and started their internships with Hays Travel. This is an important moment for them as it is their first international trip which will allow them to experience a new culture. We are confident that this experience will not only expand their knowledge but also equip them with valuable skills that will help them achieve their goals in the future. We are grateful to Hays Travel for providing our students with this amazing opportunity. We can’t wait to see the progress they make during their internships and how it will impact their future endeavors.
We at people and places wish the girls good luck as they start their working lives with this exciting adventure!
