An Invitation – come and meet us!

Our hosts for this latest volunteers’ meeting are our colleagues at ITC Giving.

“I thought it was great to meet up and have a good old chin wag with everyone – it was so lovely to be able to speak about the experience again and at points very emotionally, especially when hearing feedback from Nita and Paul about what the children at Emmanuel had said about our time together :)” Danielle

These events are SO popular that Sallie and Kate are arranging several more during the first six months of 2012 – the first of which is now planned for March 3^rd in Chester.

We’re delighted to extend this invitation before the busy-ness of the forthcoming holiday season takes over! And we would urge you to get the date into your diaries as soon as possible!

We invite all volunteers – whether you’ve already travelled with us or you’re thinking about future possibilities – to come and meet us and each other. We’d also love to share news and views with your friends, colleagues, family and supporters – so please extend our invitation to them as well.

We shall attempt to give a short ‘formal’ presentation early in the afternoon – but we suspect that volunteers will want to meet and talk with each other, and just maybe us!

There will be light refreshments available, of course.
Volunteers who’ve already returned from their placements; volunteers whose placements are planned; potential volunteers who are still doing considering the possibilities – all in the same place at the same time! What a great opportunity for previous volunteers to catch up on the news – and future volunteers will be able to ask the ‘veterans’ what volunteering is really like.

We’re really looking forward to this opportunity – we’ve met many volunteers over the years, but nowhere near enough! It will be wonderful to be able to put faces to voices and names.

And ‘thank you’ to our colleagues at ITC Giving for your help with this latest get-together!
